Welcome to Char & Co, a space where memories, stories, and the beauty of nature come together to create meaningful art for your home.

Hey, I’m Char, and my photography career began in 2001. While much of my work has focused on photographing people (www.charmainemarinkovich.co.nz), I’ve fallen in love with taking my camera on little adventures. Exploring landscapes and places that evoke a sense of calm and nostalgia.

The photo that inspired Char & Co was taken in 2008, during a visit to my parents’ farm in the far north. It’s a shot of the “Kumara Patch” I grew up seeing, a view that still brings back so many childhood memories. That photo now hangs in my parents’ home as well as mine, a reminder to keep planting the seeds of your dreams.

Over the years, I’ve created large prints for family and friends, helping them bring memories of places they love into their homes. There’s something special about connecting people to their stories through art. My mission is to create prints that bring the outdoors in, offering a moment of stillness amidst life’s fullness.
